"Lighting is the jewelry of your home" according to Gina Hambuchen of Hambuchen Lighting. This family business was first established by her grandfather, Gus Hambuchen in 1946. Gus not only specialized in commercial and residential lighting fixtures, but also in wiring. In 1985, her parents, Jim and GiGi Hambuchen purchased the family business.

Gina grew up in the family business alongside her sister, Jill, and her brother, Eric. After Jim retired, Eric succeeded his father in Hambuchen Electric. Gina and Jill expanded the lighting side of the family business into an independent company. Gina now runs the business, working closely with her brother's company to meet the lighting and wiring needs of their customers.

Hambuchen Lighting focuses strongly on customer service. Gina often sits down with her customers to consult with them about their needs and assists them in making their selection.
